Introduction

“Happy Baby Land” and “Kid's Funny World” provide Temporary Child Care Service (Monday - Sunday & Public Holidays) for infants aged 0-3 and children aged 3-6.

“Happy Baby Land” Temporary Child Care Service

Our Babies Section provides Temporary Child Care Service for normal and healthy infants aged 3 or below to allow parents and carers time off to handle private affairs and exceptional circumstances. This prevents infants from being left at home alone and relieves the pressure of parents and carers.

According to the schedule set by our Babies Section, activities are arranged based on ages of infants, such as basic care and sense-stimulating activities for babies aged from 0 to 1?; thematic learning, musical activity, activities exercising gross and fine motor skills, group games, story-telling, cognitive ability exercises and various toys for infants aged from 1? to 3.

We charge $200 for a day, which covers fees for lunch, dinner, refreshments and fruit. We provide temporary care for at least 2 hours for a time, including $20 per hour for the first 2 hours, and then $18 per hour, with an extra $5 charged for a lunch or dinner.

Service hours: We open daily including Sundays and public holidays from 8:00 to 22:00.

“Kid's Funny World” Temporary Child Care Service

Our Kinder Section provides Temporary Child Care Services for normal and healthy children aged 3 to 6 to allow parents and carers time off to handle private affairs or exceptional circumstances. This prevents children from being left at home alone.

According to the schedule set by the Kinder Section, activities are arranged based on ages of children, aiming at helping children develop in an all-round way through diversified programmes. We arrange children temporarily put under care here to interact with other children through participating in intra-group activities and programmes, including group learning, sing and play, handicraft making, stories, physical activities and meals.

We charge $180 for a day which covers fees for lunch, dinner, fruit, refreshments and “night snack”. We provide temporary care for at least 2 hours for a time, including $20 per hour for the first 2 hours, then $15 per hour, with an extra $7.8 charged for a lunch or dinner

Service hours: We open daily including Sundays and public holidays from 9:00 to 22:00.

Application Procedure

• Application is accepted all year round.
• Applicants need to firstly call for registration and fill in registration form. Application form can be obtained in the following ways:
1. Come to the Kuk in person
2. Fax
3. Download online
• Please come to the Kuk in person for registration formalities with the following documents when you send children here for the first time

1. Identifying documents of parents / guardians / carers
2. Copies of identifying documents of the infants / children
3. Presentation of Immunisation Card (DH 6) / Blue Book when necessary

• For temporary child care, please call us for enquiry and reservation at least 2 hours before you send your children here.

Reservation Cancellation

• Please call and inform us as early as possible if you cancel the reservation.

Notes for Parents

• We charge a fee of 1-hour service for a delay of more than 15 minutes in picking up the children.
• We do not feed any medicine to children during our temporary care as a proxy for you, and we do not accept children who are ill or feel unwell.
