Victim Support Programme for Victims of Family Violence (VSP)

Provide relevant information on judicial proceedings and community support services, as well as emotional support and accompany services, which aim to strengthen protection to victims of family violence, alleviate their fear in going through the judicial process and help them resume normal life.

Child Visitation Service - “Life Journey with Children”

Provide a safe and comfortable environment where children exposed to domestic violence can meet their father / mother; help them rebuild / maintain good communication and contact in order to enhance parent-child relationship.



Objective

  • Help parents fulfill their duties to their children.
  • Alleviate the divorced couple’s pressure and tension in discussing and arranging for children’s visitation.
  • Reduce the psychological impacts of family violence and parents’ divorce on children and repair alienated or broken parent-child relationship.

Eligibility for the Service

Parents separated/divorced due to family violence and their children aged below 18.

Clinical Psychologist Services

The clinical psychologist of the Centre will provide specialized assessment, counselling or psychotherapy to the persons affected by family violence, so as to help them adapt to the changes of life and overcome their psychic trauma resulting from family violence.

In addition, the clinical psychologist will also conduct regular volunteer training courses, talks/groups on emotional health for the community to introduce ways to manage emotion, to promote family cohesion and to restore interpersonal relationship.
