Child-centered Play
Therapy Counselling Service
Like adults, children also experience the flavour of happiness, anger,
sadness and fear in daily life, but often hardly put their feelings in words
due to their limited vocabulary and inability to have a clear insight into the
abstract inner world.
“Play” is the most common communication platform for children, and is a
tool for them to express their emotions, thoughts and actions. “Play” can not only help children get the
sense of satisfaction and accomplishment and calm down themselves, but also
enhance their confidence and sense of control, boosting their physical and
mental development.
Service Tenet
The play therapy
counselling assists children expressing their inner worlds freely and releasing
their depressed emotion to lead children to healthy development in both emotion
and mind, and also helps them improve their sense of self-esteem and behaviour
problems.
