I feel that I was at home instead of in a residential place. I like the facilities here.
The workers take good care of us and most of them treat every kid with a heart. Once I fell on the playground, a worker carried me back to the Ward immediately. I felt that the workers here really cared about us. I even cried at that time! However, if we are naughty, they would warn or discipline us immediately. I like every worker here as they treat every child fairly and kindly.
Children in New Comers' Ward are easy-going, lively, cheerful, lovely and humorous. Sometimes, we go out with the workers and our friendship has been enhanced. During our stay here, our horizon has been widened and knowledge has been enriched via participation in different activities, such as boating and attending Child Sponsors’ Day, all of which have brought us a lot of joy. I have not taken a boat or seen an idol before, and I couldn’t imagine I can do it here. The workers in New Comers' Ward are right, saying that New Comers' Ward gives every child a "new beginning".
Though I will not stay here for my whole life, I will cherish every day here before I have to leave. Time flies before parting and it makes me feel that the time I spent here with friends is very short. I will not forget the happy time I spent here after I left.
